• While high-risk areas may be reported in the news media, it is highly recommended that employers and employees review trusted sources of information on COVID-19 infection rates.

• It is recommended that the COVID-19 Response Officer is tasked to keep an updated list of high-risk areas and is consulted ahead of any employee travel.

All tourism businesses must establish policies that limit or restrict employee travel to regions that are high COVID-19 risk.
