General knowledge of COVID-19 for tourism Guidelines on cleaning agents

You must assure that all cleaning and disinfectant products are sufficient to neutralise the COVID-19 virus.

The following guidelines are mandatory:

  • Ensure that cleaning and disinfectant products used for surfaces have been confirmed to neutralise the COVID-19 virus.
  • Follow manufacturer instructions for dishwashing and laundry equipment including proper temperature and detergent guidelines.
  • Wash all linens at a temperature of 60-90° C.
